Small Beginnings

Let God meet you in smallness.  When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, he embraced his smallness even as the crowds cried, “Hosanna!”  He would not let them make him big before His time.

In Scripture, when they talk about the kingdom it begins very small as a mustard seed or some yeast, hardly noticeable at first.

I think Jesus loves small beginnings.  “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.”  Zechariah 4:10

God is in the small things. Paul said, “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.”

We need to only be faithful to plant and water the seed. Don’t focus on the growth.  It’s God’s job to provide growth in His time and His way.

Be Small, Be Faithful in the small things.  Allow God to meet you in smallness.  When He desires growth- it will happen.  Wait! Just be who you are and where you are right now.
