We were all strangers-
A word spoken,
A song sung,
A hand shaken-
Love won!
Good Samaritans
Filled the room,
Tears and stories
Of immigrants
In need of
Sanctuary soon.
One life,
One step
Towards freedom.
In Solidarity
And hope
We enter
a new season!
